New Arab Partners, New Arab Client

by Robin on January 5, 2010

Income/Outcome® business simulation workshops have been chosen by the Khalifa Fund for Enterprise Development to provide business acumen training for 400 entrepreneurs in Abu Dhabi, UAE. This initiative is expected to lead to wider training work with the Khalifa Fund, and with Logic Management Consulting whose consultant Omar Radwan brokered the deal.

Robin Helweg-Larsen will provide a train-the-trainer session for four Khalifa trainers and two Logic consultants in Abu Dhabi on January 19-21, 2010. The trainers will be licensed to teach three levels of Income/Outcome business simulation: the half-day Entrepreneurial Challenge, the one-day Finance For Everyone, and the day-and-a-half Finance For Managers and Sales Professionals. The translation of materials into Arabic has been done by Logic. All the simulations will provide a ‘start-up experience’ to the new business entrepreneurs.

This opportunity is exciting for Andromeda in several ways. The Khalifa Fund was set up by the Government of Abu Dhabi to help transform their economy from a resource base to an entrepreneurial model, and we are delighted to be part of that work. This also provides us with a presence in the Arab world, something we have been determined to achieve. Also, Logic Management Consulting look like excellent partners for us, with offices across the Middle East.

Games from NASAGA

Of course we only [...]

A Visual Look at the Xerox/ACS Acquisition

September 29, 2009

I recently stumbled across a discussion of the Xerox purchase of ACS.
Most reviews of the acquisition are critics. I have created Company Boards for both companies, and invite you to form your own opinion (and leave it in comments!) However this is what I see:
